Contractor websites for Louisville and Oldham County, built to catch the job

Homeowners and facility managers in Jefferson and Oldham counties are not browsing a contractor site for entertainment. They want proof you are real, a way to request an estimate, and a person or a fast text when something is leaking, loud, or storm-damaged.

The site has one job

NickRanks builds contractor sites and pairs them with lead capture: Chat Widget, Voice AI, and Missed Call Text-Back. When you want the pipeline installed, those requests land in NickRanks CRM through a Growth Engine. Until then, the public next step is the booking form on the contact page.

Truck decals and yard signs, when you need the physical side to match the site, are printed in-house at the Louisville print studio. That work is quoted on its own.

Where the jobs are, from Census estimates

Use these as service-area context. They are not a claim that NickRanks is the top contractor agency in Kentucky, and they are not a forecast of your close rate.

What a contractor site has to do

  1. 1

Load on a phone at a red light on I-265

The person comparing you is not at a desk. A slow first screen is a lost estimate.

  2. 2

Show the trade and proof you approve

Project photos have to be yours or otherwise approved for publication. We do not present stock photos of houses as finished work.

  3. 3

Route the estimate into a pipeline

A shared inbox is how estimates die. A Growth Engine puts them in NickRanks CRM. If you are not ready for that, start with the contact booking path and add the system when the volume hurts.

  4. 4

    Survive after hours

Voice AI answers when you turn it on. Missed Call Text-Back sends a text when you are on a roof and the call drops. Many shops want both. They are priced separately so you can choose.

  5. 5

    Match the Google Business Profile

Services and landing URLs should name the work you perform in Louisville, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Middletown, La Grange, Crestwood, and the other towns you actually drive.

Trades this page covers

The shared problems are the same for HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, and general contractors: an estimate request, an after-hours emergency, and proof the company is real. This page stays on those shared problems.

A seasonal page for one trade is a better home for storm, freeze, or no-cool copy than one generic contractor article. Those pages are not up yet. We will not link you to a URL that does not exist.

What to buy, in order

A software login is not a configured estimate pipeline. These are the installed pieces and the public prices. Pick the step that matches the leak.

Licenses and insurance

NickRanks does not provide licensing or insurance advice. If your site mentions a license or an insurance policy, that wording has to come from you and match what you actually carry. We will not draft it, imply it, or guess.

Missed emergency calls, in dollars

Put in a week of missed calls and a typical ticket. Emergency and estimate calls are the ones this page is about. The sketch does not know your close rate, so treat the result as an upper illustration, then open the full calculator if you want the longer worksheet.

About $2,500 a week, or $10,000 across four weeks, if every one of those calls would have booked.

The 5 and $500 defaults are the example from the NickRanks homepage. Replace them. A four-week month keeps the math easy to check. This is not a forecast and not a client result. The numbers stay in this browser tab.

Questions owners actually ask

How much does a contractor website cost in Louisville?

NickRanks web design and funnels start at $2,500. A complex multi-trade site or a large catalog costs more and is quoted. A Growth Engine, at $4,997 to launch plus $497 a month, is the path when you want NickRanks CRM, booking, and AI answering installed with the site. Chat Widget is $79 a month plus a $197 setup if the site is fine and the form is the leak.

Do I need Missed Call Text-Back if I have Voice AI?

They do different jobs. Voice AI answers when you set it to. Missed Call Text-Back sends a text when a call is missed while you are on a job. Voice AI starts at $297 a month plus a $497 setup. Missed Call Text-Back is $147 a month plus a $297 setup. Many trades use both. The choice is based on how the phones actually ring, and both prices stay visible either way.

Can you build sites for HVAC, plumbing, and roofing?

Yes. Electrical and general contracting sit in the same pattern: estimate requests, after-hours calls, and proof of real work. Trade-specific pages, with seasonal questions for each one, are not published yet. This page is the shared starting point, and we will not point you at a URL that 404s.

Will you use stock photos of houses that are not mine?

Not as your work, and not as ours. Published project proof needs your photos or pieces NickRanks has approval to show. If those photos do not exist yet, the page should say less and wait.

Do you work outside Louisville?

Yes. Oldham County, Shelby County, and Southern Indiana, including Jeffersonville, New Albany, and Clarksville, are normal drives when the contractor actually covers them. The site should name a town only when that is true for that company.

Do you advise on licenses or insurance?

No. NickRanks does not provide licensing or insurance advice. If a contractor site mentions a license or insurance, the contractor supplies that language and it has to match what they carry.
