The Story
I started at UPS in 2009 getting paid to sweat.
4 AM. Unloading trailers. Throwing boxes. It wasn't glamorous, but it was honest work — and it taught me something most people never learn: systems are everything.
Over the next 15 years, I worked my way up. Package handler. Supervisor. Product manager. Eventually, Product Owner — building the logistics systems that move millions of packages without losing a single one.
At UPS, a lost package is a failure. A missed scan is a problem. Every single item gets tracked, routed, and delivered — because the system doesn't let things slip through the cracks.
Then I looked at how local businesses operate.
Great plumbers. Talented contractors. Dentists who actually care about their patients. All of them losing money — not because they weren't good at their jobs, but because they were too busy doing their jobs to answer every call.
Phones ringing out. Websites with no way to reach anyone. Leads walking out the door while the owner was under a sink or in a meeting.
I realized the same systems thinking I'd spent 15 years learning at a Fortune 10 company could fix this — for a fraction of the cost.
